This is my work-in-progress Marine Scout detachment. I have done quite a lot of conversion work for this detachment, including heavy bolters, a sniper, a veteran sergent and a radio man. I based the units on slightly larger than normal bases in order to make them look more spread out, as befits scouts. As well as the conversion work to some of the figures there is also a customised rhino to ferry the command unit and the sniper around in. |

The two images above show the command unit and the sniper unit in close-up. The Command unit is lead by a veteran sergent who wears a short cloak, goggles and a large right shoulder pad. He carries a power-sword of some description. Standing to his left is the detachments radio man who wears a communications pack and is speaking into a hand mic. The sniper wears a full length cammo cloak and goggles. He is carrying a sniper rifle with silencer and telescopic sight. Both units contain a scout carrying a heavy bolter as a support weapon. |

The full detachment consists of two Razorbacks and the Command Rhino transporting four scout units, one of which has the commander upgrade and another has the sniper upgrade. Currently the detachment has got as far as the based and undercoated stage. This section will be updated with more pictures once painting is finished |
